My Homeland: The first documentary of it’s kind that tells the history of the Southern Suburbs of Beirut since 550 years ago, until it’s destruction in the Zionist Agression of July 2006.
My Homeland includes rare archive, photos and footage of the suburbs that are seen by many for the first time. It narrates it’s resistance against the Ma’ani Feudal System, the Ottoman Authority, the French Colonial System, it’s support for the Nasserite Movement, the Palestinian Fidayeen movement and the Deprived Movement, reaching to the establishment of Hizbullah, and it’s relation with the southern suburbs until they became the Capital of the Resistance.
