Video tribute to Imam Ali(A), the brother of the Prophet Muhammad(S), the husband of the Zahra al-Batoul(A), the father of al-Hasanain(A).
Imam Ali(A) was martyred in the Grand Masjed of Kufa nearly 1,400 years ago, but an extremist and literalist from the group known as the al-Khawarej (they have similies in today’s society, however, their name has changed, it is not important to know who they are today, but to those who understand, it is obvious).
Islam is not literal, and it should never be taken literally, Islam is pure and elegant, like Allah is pure and elegant. Islam is balanced and in perfect equilibrium at all times, when there is a time for retribution, Allah is the most swift to strike down the oppressors and tyrants, and at times for love, His Love encompasses everything, and truly the Mercy of Allah envelopes all things.
Enjoy the video, and remember that today, Ali ibn Abi Talib(A) was struck down in the Masjed while in prayer, by the poison laced sword of an extremist (ibn Muljim al-Muradi(L)), seduced by a bitter and twisted woman (Quttamah(L), and egged on by a hypocrite (A’shas al-Kindi(L)).
It is important to note something about Imam Ali(A) and his reaction to his killer. When - after striking him the fatal blow, ibn Muljim(A) was brought to Imam Ali(A), his hands were bound in a very tight manner, and he clearly terrified, and thirsty. Imam Ali(A) immediately ordered that the rope tying his hands be loosened, and that he be given some water (according to other historical traditions it is said that Imam Ali(A) ordered that ibn Muljim(L) be given some milk - doesn’t really matter, ibn Muljim(L) was given a drink and his thirst was quenched).
Furthermore, Imam Ali(A), went on to say, that if he was to die from the blow delivered by ibn Muljim(L), that ibn Muljim(L) should also be killed only with ONE blow, no more and no less. He was NOT to be tortured, maimed or mutilated in anyway.

I send condolences to the entire Muslim Ummah, and indeed to all of humanity on the murder of this great personality, who had so much to give to humanity, but for whom humanity only had hate and contempt.
