Just a quick note to let everyone know that Leicester’s Behlool Islamic Youth Group (part of the Leicester Masjid al-Husayn(A) Organisation) has launched it’s Discussion Forum, and should be (from what I’m being told) launching it’s main site, with information about events and lectures they’ll be organising and stuff. All sounds awesome!!
While you’re checking that out, I’d recommend checking out the lectures of Shaykh Yusuf Dhirani(HA) on Imam Ali(A)’s Khutbat al-Muttaqeen that describes the qualities of the God Conscious or God Aware people, the entire Khutbah (or Sermon), can be found here, the podcasts of the lectures by Shaykh Yusuf(HA) can be found here.
Well worth checking out - I should point out that Shaykh Yusuf(HA)’s lectures are roughly half in English and half in Urdu, but they really are quite good. Also, get involved in the Discussion Forums - look forward to seeing you over there!
