I appreciate what you’re saying. However, I must point out that the game is unavailable for sale in the Western World for reasons that are bizzare, since there are other games which are available for sale - where Arabs and Muslims are the victims.

Providing this game here, is a way of attempting to balance the scenario. I am have you seen the game available at your local Computer game store? I don’t think so, and believe me - since I heard about the game, I’ve looked around!!

I had said in my post quite clearly:

“Even though the game is supposed to retail for $10, it is impossible to get in most parts of the world in fact the only places you can realistically buy a copy at your local computer game store would be places such as Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and perhaps some of the Gulf states.”

If you feel a pang of guilt, perhaps it’d be an idea to donate $10 (or even more if you can afford it) to a worthy charitable cause, perhaps one that cares for the orphans and widows that the Israeli occupation of Lebanon created? Perhaps a fund to assist with rebuilding Beirut and helping it’s people following the Israeli “shock and awe” operations during the 33 day war - when incidentally the Israelis were suitably ejected from Lebanon in a suitably humiliating fashion?

I’d actually said this quite clearly:
“There is a caveat, if you do choose to download the game, then it might be prudent for you to donate $10 (or it’s equivalent in your local currency) to a local charity, Islamic Center, Masjed or the like. ”

What’s your real objection? Is it the fact that there are now games where Muslims are the good guys now? Whereas in the western world, in game stores around America and Europe, most of the games have Arabs, Iranians and Muslims as the “terrorists”. This is an fact and cannot be disputed. If you have evidence of a game, available in retail stores in America and Europe, where Muslims are the heroes in a battle scenario or whatever, then please do let us know - I’m sure that with enough people knowing about it, it’s sales could go through the roof!!

If I get a complaint from the publishers of the game, and I have no idea whether they know about this site or the torrents, then for sure we will remove the torrent, however, until such time as that happens, I see nothing wrong with having them available as torrents.

If you don’t want them, the solution is very simple, don’t download them. Easy.

I’m afraid I don’t do Rapid Share, it’s given me too many problems in the past, and I find it unreliable. I’ve checked your IP, and I’ve seen other requests from netvision in Israel access the torrent happily.

Why don’t you try shifting to utorrent - it’s a far superior client, or azureus if you’re on a *nix platform?

Translating the game into English is a great idea, I believe there is an English version out there, (need to check - not had the time).

Failing that, a game could always be designed using the Open Arena Project (See: http://openarena.ws/) and building maps up from the memoirs of those who were involved. Also, the Open Arena Engine is very nice to code against, and is Open Source, which is always nice.

The torrent site gives you a link to the torrent file, you then need a torrent client (such as Azureus http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ or uTorrent http://www.utorrent.com/ or even Bittorrent http://www.bittorrent.com), to download the torrent.

If you install a torrent client, when you click on the download link (the picture of a floppy), your browser will ask you if you want to save the torrent or open it with a client (such as Azureus, uTorrent, BitTorrent or whatever you’ve installed). Your torrent software will then open up the file and start pulling the files from whereever they are on the internet.

What specification is your machine (the one you’re trying to install the game on). I mean:

Amount of Memory (RAM):
CPU:
Hard Disc:
Graphics Card:

Also, if you can get yourself a Skype account - they’re free - from www.skype.com, then add me, I think that would be a faster way to resolve this.
