Well it has been a fair few days since my last post here, (which was all about playing with a shiny new release candidate of Windows 2008 Server and making it do PHP - lovely!)

Okay, I’ve been pretty tied up, since then, and so I’ve not had a chance to post.  However, as always, our diligent designer - Hedzz - has been busy with artwork, that we can use for default times - when there is no special occasion.  In fact you can see that artwork on both karbala.com and islamicdigest.net (and hopefully on noorislam.net) at this current time (late October 2007 / mid-Shawwal 1428).

Since the default items will not always be available there, I thought it’d be nice to make them available here, for all to see, here you are in their full glory:

Hedzz, gave me another design for the default Islamic Digest splash page - which I think is better than the original, so it’s become the default.  For the sake of completeness, all the designs for default splash page artwork for both Islamic Digest and Karbala (and Noor Islam once we get it back from the guys over there), are here, enjoy:
