Press TV On Android – Minor Facelift And Stability Tweaks

The Press TV On Android app has had it’s first minor facelift – at Version 1.9 – with the menus now have icons (scalable naturally). Please find the screen shots below for your viewing pleasure. If you’re a bit lost take a look at this post and this post to get yourself updated on what this Press TV On Android thing is all about.

There are also a lot of stability tweaks that I have made between it’s launch (Version 1.0) and where it sits at now (Version 1.9) – and insha Allah more to come.

Press TV On Android – Version 1.0 Released

In His Name, the Most High

Finally, after a lot of work, the first version (Version 1.0) of the Press TV On Android Application has been released. You can find it in the Android Marketplace via your Android Device. The app is a FREE APP.

I’ll add more screenshots soon insha Allah, but for now you’ll have to install the app to see how it is. Also, as updates to the application come up – and I hope to be pretty regular with updates and bug fixes – a release a week insha Allah

Update 1 (Verison 1.1) (December 29, 2010):
Version 1.1 has just been released, to fix a bug reported by Feras on the Sony Ericsson X10 (I test on an HTC Desire and Emulators, don’t have a SEX10) – if you had set up automatic updates, you would have the update automatically, otherwise you can get it from the Android Marketplace. New screenshots added to the gallery.

Update 2 (Version 1.2) (December 29, 2010):
Version 1.2 has just been released, to improve performance of the image display features. Also now the entire story is displayed when you choose it, rather than just a summary portion.

Update 3 (Version 1.3) (December 29, 2010):
Version 1.3 has just been released, adds a context menu to the story display page, so you don’t have to scroll the bottom of the story to Go Back, Share or View the article on the website.
