The subject of this episode was the on-going situation in Yemen, the imposed war on Yemen, the imposed terror on Yemen, and the collective coma that the entire global community seems to be in regarding, what can only be called a Genocide in Yemen1.

In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.

Greetings!

We hope you are having a good evening, and that your fasting during these days and worships during the nights are accepted by the Almighty.  Welcome to this episode of our program “Raz” (Secret).

Tonight we have an interesting and indeed sweet subject; as tonight we will be discussing the subject of Yemen, with our guests in the studio, Sayyed Al-Emad, and the honourable lady.  Welcome both of you to our show.

Yemen is very oppressed, from every perspective it is oppressed; when we have the ability to speak on the airwaves of the Islamic Republic of Iran, of a subject that bears the fruits of the Islamic Revolution, and that the future of the Islamic Revolution is anchored therein.  This is a beautiful discussion.

One of the worst and most disgraceful persons on the face of this earth are the Family of Saud; the people of Yemen are engaged in a struggle for their very existence with this entity.   Other disgraceful and disgusting entities are supporting and aiding Saudi Arabia in this carnage.

Tonight, we also have a guest in London, Mr Shabbir Hassanally, whom we interviewed earlier this morning; a political and human rights activist who has written extensively in connection with the deafening silence of the Western World vis-a-vis Yemen.

Off course, we too will not remain silent on this subject, and we too have our own problems in this regard.

Mr Emad, you have recently returned from Yemen, what is the situation of Yemen at this time?  What state are the Yemeni people in?

Sayyed Hasan Ali Al-Emad:

Sayyed Hasan Ali Al-Emad, Secretary General of the Yemen Just Future Party.

Sayyed Hasan Ali Al-Emad, Secretary General of the Yemen Just Future Party.

That cry that was raised on the day of Ashura, that fell upon the ears of the entire world, and more specifically upon those who are followers of Imam Husayn, and we have raised a loud cry to all the sites, networks and a great many places that can answer and respond; but unfortunately our cries have not yielded responses.

We raised the cry of “Is there anyone left to help us”.

We are in a specific situation now; just as Imam Khomeini had said that “every day is Ashura, and every place is Karbala”; today in Yemen we are witnessing a Karbala.  A Karbala that encompasses the entire country.  There is a total blockade of the entire country!  A blockade by land, sea and air.  A complete blockade.

When Imam Khamenei spoke and said that Yemen is greatly oppressed, that those who are fighting against Yemen are worse than the infidels of Quraysh who fought against the Prophet.  And that which was said by Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, when he said that the biggest oppression of this age is that of Yemen; that the best work that he has performed, more than that that he has done in working with the Resistance against the Zionists is that I speak regarding Yemen, and defend Yemen.

These words, are not empty, as the Iranians say, these are serious.

I will share with you now some of the material, some figures so that the viewers can understand the magnitude of this issue:

Today, 712 mosques have been bombed from the air.  More than 763 schools.  223 tourist attractions, 113 universities have been hit by missiles.  More than 500 trailers to take food to the villages and other remote places (in Yemen) have been destroyed.

At this time, more than 15 airports, 14 seaports, 307 water storage tanks have been hit; they didn’t even have mercy on water!

270 hospitals, more than 400,000 homes have been destroyed and made uninhabitable.

In these more than two years (of the Saudi onslaught on Yemen), they have rained destruction down (upon Yemen) and destroyed it.

The houses, mosques, schools, universities, and hospitals; leave these figures to one side.  Do you see how many people have been killed?!

Official statistics show more than 23,000 martyrs and wounded, including children.  Looking at it collectively, we seem nearly 2,500 children who have been martyred.  Children are innocent beings, who has murdered them?  Remember in Karbala how many children were killed?

Thousands of children are being killed now in Yemen, we have thousands of Zaynabs4 in Yemen being massacred, we have thousands of Ali al-Akbar’s5 in Yemen.

In addition to the massacre of the people of Yemen, now they are infecting Yemen with Cholera6.  At this time, in 15 of Yemen’s provinces, there is a Cholera epidemic.  More than 51,000 people have been infected with Cholera, and as the infection spreads – in this month (May 2017) alone – more than 500 –  have succumbed to this illness and died, this has been explained and broken down by the Interior Ministery (of Yemen).

With these figures, happenings, people get surprised, that these events are happening at this present time (the 21st Century) and indeed are taking place today!  And still, no-one stands up to condemn and speak against this?!  Where is the world!!

Where is the United Nations?  Where is all this talk of “human rights” that the world leaders meet up and speak about so enthusiastically?!

Where are the countries and peoples of the world?!

Once you make a demonstration and beam its picture across the globe, they might stay their hand. Tell the people how the Yemeni people are being massacred today!

The Yemeni people are crying out to you “Is there anyone to help us?!”, that truly today, there are children under the rubble, dying.  Doesn’t the Prophet (Muhammad) say:

“That person who doesn’t care about the situation of the Muslims is not from them”

These are Muslims being massacred.  Who from the Muslims talks of our (the Yemeni’s) plight?  Who speaks of our oppression? In Iran, have a saying that the Children of Adam, are parts of each other. People, children of Adam, are killing the Muslims in Yemen today!

Mr Nader Talebzadeh:

About 4 or 5 months ago we had an interview with you, and since then the situation is gotten considerably worse, meaning that even we in Iran, don’t speak of this.

This morning when I spoke to one of the political and human rights activists that are based over there, they spoke of demonstrations outside the various embassies – Saudi, American, outside the British Parliament; and now they are looking at preparing a flotilla of ships with a view to getting some aid, basic supplies, medication and such; and go towards Yemen. They want to ensure that there are some senior responsible (parliamentarians, celebrities, human rights activists, Nobel laureates and such) people from Britain, Europe and the US on this flotilla, so as to ensure some degree of security.  Mr Hassanally will elaborate on this shortly.

Although news about Yemen is sometimes presented, this is extremely sparse, and the reality of the situation in Yemen is never mentioned.

Madam, you are originally Iranian but have lived in Yemen for 15 to 16 years, please tell us about the situation of women in Yemen.

Mrs Fatema-pour Hajj Sayyed Ahmed:

Mrs Fatema-pour Hajj Sayyed Ahmed, an Iranian Expatriate living and married in Yemen for the last 15/16 years

Mrs Fatema-pour Hajj Sayyed Ahmed, an Iranian Expatriate living and married in Yemen for the last 15/16 years

A Yemeni woman, in these days, is an oppressed woman.  A tired woman, a woman who feels the weight of a mountain upon her back.  I don’t think that any human can tolerate this hardship.

In these days there is war.  An air war, a naval war, from the ground to the sky, and even in the sea.  Missile ships target every place; can you imagine such a blockade is in place; that there are no young people, no youth left in any home?

Many of the youth, have lost their fathers, spouses, sons and daughters; either they have gone to the battlefront and become martyred in the battlefield, or they have been the victim of the countless missiles that rain down upon Yemen.

At this time, a Yemeni woman has the responsibility of her children and the responsibility of her entire life.  She must be both the father and the mother, and perform all the tasks, because in all honesty, today, in every Yemeni home, there are no men left.  All of them have gone to the battlefront, from the brother to the husband to the father.

In this circumstances, the women of Yemen stand tall, and want to keep their children protected and give them food, but how?!

With these difficulties and bound by this blockade, how are they to do this?!

There is no food, there is no medicine for Cholera that is spreading like wildfire among the people, now the situation is extremely dire.

Nowadays there isn’t any gas for cooking, they are compelled to search for and gather tinder7 so they can make a fire and cook some food.  They are forced to wait in queues for water, far away from their homes.

Even some of the water given by the few operational charities can’t be guaranteed to be uncontaminated and pure.  They have to wait in line for hours at a time, to get a couple of cans of water, in order to prepare food for the children or any other use.

All of the hardships of life are upon the back of the Yemeni woman.

In these days, the risk is high for a Yemeni woman, she goes out to fetch food and water for her children, only to return, finding her home destroyed and her children buried under the debris and rubble, and nothing is left of her life.

If her children are found under the rubble of the bombed out buildings, if they haven’t perished, then in front of her very eyes, she witnesses them die of hunger, thirst or disease.

The life of a Yemeni woman is one of tolerance under extreme difficulty and great tribulation.

For example, I saw with my own eyes, a lot of women fleeing many towns and arriving in Sana’a, going into the makeshift camps at schools, and living as internally displaced people, as refugees.  Indeed the condition of some of them is so terrible that their entire families are lost, their entire lives ruined. Children have lost months of their education, such are the trials and tribulations of their lives.

We tried, to ensure that in every school, there were some tents so that these women could be in the tents and have some privacy, to try and console them in this situation, to train them in the art of sewing and such crafts, in order to give them some distraction from their trials and thereby give them some relief.

I remember one lady, she had 8 daughters, the father and son were martyred; she didn’t know what to do with these eight daughters.  They had become completely displaced, we taught four of the daughters how to sew; we arranged for them a small home, and a sewing machine as a gift. Now they are working, but their situation is still not so good, and without a man in the house, their situation becomes more precarious.

Mr Nader Talebzadeh:

Mr Shabbir Hassanally, recently wrote an article under the title “Saudi Arabia is DAESH in a Suit“, he is an activist in the UK, involved in various activities, writing, demonstrations and other activities to inform the people of the situation in this region.

We had an interview with him early this morning, and here is a portion of this interview.

Shabbir Hassanally:

Shabbir Hassanally

Shabbir Hassanally

Today, in Yemen, people are dying of hunger.  Regular medication is not available.  For example, medicine factories have been bombed and destroyed in Sana’a, Sa’ada, such that the people of Yemen, are unable to obtain nor manufacture medicines, and indeed more besides, including essentials, like bread, and such things; things that any human needs for their basic existence, are next to impossible to find in Yemen.

Just like what was done to Gaza, only amplified by an order of 10, no an order of 100 or more.  Those events that happened in Gaza sadly happened, and we pray to God that they never happen again.

However, in Yemen, such events and indeed worse continue to occur, unabated, unchecked, and unhindered, and the world remains oblivious.  This has somehow become “completely normal” (for the world) from the perspective of the western nations.

So much so, that when someone like you or me, says to the world that “Oh people of the world!  There is a disaster, a genocide happening in Yemen”.  The people refuse to accept this, they reject the very premise. They say that this is not possible in the world now.

They speak of a soft war between Iran and Saudi Arabia.  Fine, perhaps there is a soft war, I am not concerned with any soft war in this subject.  I’m concerned with the fact that people in Yemen are oppressed and are dying.

Why are they dying?  Because of hunger, because of thirst.

Now it is the blessed month of Ramadhan, we all fast every day, and at the time of Iftar8, we can have dates, pray and break our fasts.

The people in Yemen, don’t have any food, let alone dates, they don’t have food! They don’t have salt even!  They don’t have water!  Drinking water I mean, they don’t have drinking water!

If we are the followers and supporters of Imam-e-Zaman, may God hasten his return9, we have to do something to help the people of Yemen, to aid and alleviate the pain of the oppressed people of Yemen.

These people (of Yemen) are engaged in a struggle, they are engaged in resistance against Saudi Arabia, but not only Saudi Arabia, against the entire world.  In the same way as (the Islamic Republic of) Iran, engaged in eight years of Sacred Defense; the people of Yemen, the people of Ansarallah, indeed all of Yemen is making its resistance against the entire world.

And on this subject, there are a few of us who are looking into the possibility and in very early planning stages for a Flotilla (to Yemen); the same was as the flotilla was sent to Gaza.  The biggest effect of this project will be publicity, to bring the issue of Yemen onto the world stage; naturally, there will be some food, aid and medicine that is taken also, but more for raising the awareness of the public; such that they saw (in the Gaza flotilla) what is happening in Gaza.

We want to raise a flotilla to Yemen, to the port of Hudaidah; to show the people of the world, that look Oh People of the World, this is what is happening in Yemen.

Mr Nader Talebzadeh:

The hardest thing for the people of Yemen, and for a Muslim person is that the voice of the people of Yemen is not heard.  It has become silenced, it has been silenced by the satanic screams of the Western Media engine.  What – in your opinion – is our duty in this regard?

Sayyed Hasan Ali Al-Emad:

Firstly, I would thank Mr Hassanally, both from myself and on behalf of all of the oppressed Yemeni people, for his efforts.  Indeed, I thank and salute and indeed kiss the hands of each and every person, from every corner of the world, who makes the effort to speak out about the plight of the people of Yemen.

At the moment, the oppression meted out upon Yemen is extraordinary.

For example, if we consider the oppression laid upon Gaza; many of the channels – in one way or another – were speaking about Gaza.  There were demonstrations, protests in parts of the Arab world as well as Europe.  There were aid missions and the like (such as the Gaza Freedom Flotilla mission).

But regarding Yemen is there anything like this at all?

Such is the plan of the enemy regarding Yemen, that none can understand what is happening.  Such that none can understand that Yemen is being wiped from the map.  The enemy is doing their own tasks, and the television channels and websites, the international organisations, writers and everyone are being duped and manipulated. The result of which ensures that the narrative of the enemy stays at the forefront; all this through the use of its countless petrodollars.

However, we, we who declare that we are Muslims what have we done?

What is the duty of the Muslims regarding the people of Yemen?

(What is the duty of the Muslims) To the Muslims of Yemen, who are from the original Arabs, and from the origins of Islam, from the original teachers of Islam.  Within the Islamic community and the Islamic countries, many of the original teachers of Islam, be they in Malaysia or Indonesia, in Africa or Iran, in Lebanon or elsewhere, have all been of Yemeni Arab extraction.

Do the people of Yemen have no rights?  Do we not owe them at least that much?!

This is an Islamic and religious duty on all the Muslims, indeed, on all of the inhabitants of this world.   It is a task that is upon the necks of the Muslims of the world, and upon all of those who on finishing their prayers raise their hands in supplication and pray:

“Oh my Lord, hasten the return of our Master and hasten our relief (with his return)”

Do you know that this word of “faraj” (relief) is connected to Yemen?  Do you know that the enemies within the early times of Islam understood that one of the key points of strength of the Commander of the Faithful was Yemen?10  As a result, they invaded and attacked Yemen with a view to the annihilation of the Yemeni people.

It is said (in the books of history) that in just one day in Yemen, 30,000 Yemeni’s were massacred.  They murdered 30,000 Yemenis in those days since they understood that one of the strongest, and loyal points of strength for Ali ibn Abi Talib11 was indeed from the Yemeni people, those same believers who were loyal towards Islam (and its principles).

Today, I would like to say openly, to declare, that the greatest point of strength for the Awaited Master, Imam al-Mahdi, may our souls be his ransom and may God hasten his return, one of the key aspects that lead the way for his return12, as a result his enemies are working hard, to prevent this from happening, committing a genocide in Yemen to prevent this from happening.

The companions of the Imam al-Mahdi13 should not be able to set up camp there and make their rise from there; because they believe that in the destruction of Yemen, there is a respite for them (the enemy and those against Imam al-Mahdi and Islam).

A free Yemen, an independent Yemen means the destruction of the enemies of Yemen; and it is for that exactly reason that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah14 said very clearly and openly that the victory of Yemen will fundamentally change the entire region; the whole region will change.

Today the enemy is enacting their plan.  We as believers, we as those who continually beseech God to hasten the return of our Awaited Master, and that we will help the Awaited One, and every day we supplicate the Supplication of Allegiance15, we say daily in our Supplication of Allegiance:

O God, renew for him my covenant, pledge and allegiance on my neck in the morning of this day of mine,
And whatever days (of my life) I live.

I shall never turn away from it, Nor let it ever vanish.

O God, appoint me among his helpers, Aides, And his protectors.

Those who hasten to fulfil his commands,

And obey his orders. Those who are his supporters,

And compete with each other to (fulfil) his intention, And seek martyrdom in his presence.

Yet what have we and are we actually doing to ensure the victory (and indeed the return of our beloved Awaited Saviour)?

Imam Khamenei said just three days ago16 that they (the Saudi regime) are on the wrong side; so, they will certainly perish. They might stay for some time; it depends on how the community of believers act. If they act correctly and decisively, it will happen sooner. If they don’t, it might take longer. But their destruction is inevitable.

So what do we do? At this time, apart from your good self, how many of the (international and national) tv channels are discussing the plight of Yemen?  Even on Iranian television, I didn’t see any other program discussing this except yours. Can’t we do better than this?

Can we not even organise a single solitary demonstration?!

Indeed, even in London, it is better than here, there are demonstrations, there are photos distributed showing the plight of Yemen.  My message here is not only for Iran, rather it is for all who pray for the hastening of the return of our Awaited Master17.

There you go, if you are serious, this is Yemen.  This is the same Yemen, that the enemy wants to be destroyed.  This is the same Yemen, that the enemy insists you not support or help, so that Imam al-Mahdi18 should not have any support.

We have no choice but to rise and be counted, we have no choice but to provide support.

Mr Nader Talebzadeh:

In your opinion, on the subject of the sedition that exists, specifically with regard to Iran and its negative perception (on the global arena); a conspiracy to demonise Iran regarding Yemen (and the region) if you will. Would be please say a few words on this?

Sayyed Hasan Ali Al-Emad:

Indeed, you are right, there is a such a conspiracy.  Let us discuss this from an ideological perspective.  They know that with Imam al-Mahdi19 there are two flags, that of the Khorasani (i.e. Islamic Republic of Iran) and that of the Yemeni.

Without a doubt, they (the enemy) is hard at work, spending their monies, their lives and their time in order to diminish the light of  Islam that comes out of (the Islamic Republic of) Iran; to prevent it from becoming closer and working closer with Yemen.

This is because, they know if these two Muslim countries become united20, if they become true to their Islamic principles21, then these two flags are the harbingers of the return (of Imam al-Mahdi22).

They (the enemy) work like this, to harm the reputation of Iran, they use unscrupulous people, and (take out of context) some words from this side and that side, and misuse them.  They do the same to some writers, who have written about Yemen, regarding Sayyed Abdul Malik (al-Houthi), the Leader of Yemen, and of Ansarallah; who himself is a great and honourable man; and is a great resistance fighter and work with the resistance movement.  Some then start to say (attempting to be derogatory toward them) that they are “not Twelver Imami Shias”. They (the enemy) lack vision and can’t bear to see the work of the resistance movement (in Yemen), to behold their increasing support and their success.

Some of this work is misused by Saudi Arabia, and they go further to promote such (seditious and divisive) words.

They target the people of Yemen (trying to make them go against the Resistance movement and Ansarallah and indeed against the Resistance Axis per-say), and say to them “they consider you small and insignificant”, and look at them, they just say “Death to America and Death to Israel”, and they only want from you, your lives and your blood (i.e. they only use you but don’t care about you).

People must understand the propaganda and sedition are being relentlessly propagated by the enemy, 24 hours a day. They demonise (the Islamic Republic of) Iran in the eyes of Yemen (and the rest of the Arab/Muslim world), suggesting that Iran is directly involved creating the problems in Yemen and such things.   They attempt to destroy Iran’s reputation inside Yemen, with the Yemeni people.

However, (thanks to) the presence of the leader of Yemeni Resistance (Ansarallah), Sayyed Abdul Malik (al-Houthi), a great many of the schemes and plots of the enemy have been rendered impotent and ineffective; and the schemes to damage the reputation of (the Islamic Republic of) Iran have been defeated.

Mr Nader Talebzadeh:

Now, we want to run another part of the recorded interview with Mr Shabbir Hassanally, where he speaks about the devastating illness of Cholera that is now plaguing Yemen.  Please play that portion.

Shabbir Hassanally:

I think, that since the West – America, Britain, France and other such countries within Europe – are as a collective – not just friends with, but are actually big trade partners with Saudi Arabia.  The trade I’m speaking of includes the weapons trade, oil and such things.

In the West, for example in England, there is the perception that Yemen is a very poor country, that doesn’t have any wealth.  For this reason, sadly, Yemen doesn’t even factor on the radar and is considered insignificant in the eyes of the nations of the West.

So, Saudi Arabia, who (as I’ve said) is a close friend (and trade partner) with the West.  However, they have a problem with this equation.

At this time, for example in Britain, following this atrocity that happened in Manchester, the authorities are becoming nervous, that this ideology of Wahhabism, this ideology of Takfir that is ultimately exported out of Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and is spreading across the entire world.

These (western governments) are quite terrified of this rise of radicalism since they know that the roots of terrorism stem from there (Wahhabism and Takfirism out of Saudi Arabia).

Others including myself, have been writing on various blogs, and news sites (wherever we can get access), and speaking on various news channels such as Press TV, and others; continually saying that this Saudi Arabia is like DAESH, except that it wears official (normal, regular) clothing.

We (as in the western countries) should be careful because if we are so close to the Saudi Arabian entity, their entirety of their Wahhabi ideology will infect our societies – and indeed this has started already started happening for quite some time.  Evidence for this is the tragedy that occurred in Manchester and the 7/7 bombings in London and such tragic events.

Of course, it is well known, that the intelligence services of America, Israel, Britain and such, have a hand in all these tragedies23.  But we cannot overlook the fact that the ideology of those directly involved in carrying out these attacks, this terrorism, all of them, was that of Takfir, was the ideology of Wahhabism.

So we should be careful, not fearful, but cautious.  These biological weapons that they are now using, for example, this Cholera.  (We must understand that) Cholera didn’t just randomly appear in Yemen.  Cholera was injected into Yemen through the use of biological weapons.  There has also been the use of tactical nuclear weapons in Yemen, and these are all well-known facts and not just theories.  Saudi Arabia utilised these style of (illegal) weapons in Yemen and indeed continues to do so.

The question is where did (Saudi Arabia) get these type of weapons?  Sadly, the answer to this is also well known, from America, Israel, England, France and so on.

Mr Nader Talebzadeh:

I had one further question for you, Madam.  When the people of Yemen realise that you were Iranian, how did they react to you?

Mrs Fatema-pour Hajj Sayyed Ahmed:

Since Iran is known to all the oppressed peoples of the world as a country that helps and supports the oppressed; there are high expectations from Iran.

When they realise that I am Iranian, they ask me Where is Iran?  Why hasn’t it come to our aid till now?  Saudi Arabia has for a long time now painted us with the same brush as Iran, calling us “Persians”, since we are Shia; so where is Iran, and why doesn’t it come to our aid?

The expectations are very high.  Especially amongst the Yemeni women, who have raised their hands and cry, and the whole world looks upon them, but doesn’t do much to help them, not even a small protest at their plight.

Many questions come to mind.  We who are Zaynabiyyah24, we call ourselves Zaynabiyyah25; as an Iranian woman, I ask all of the Zaynabiyyah26 women here to take part in demonstrations, come out into the streets as a means of (even token) support to the women of Yemen.  If for no other reason than to show the women of Yemen that we have come out in a show of support for them, that they are not forgotten.

That we understand the difficulties that they are facing.

This – while small – also provides a great deal of solace to them, that when they see such, they feel that they are not alone in their struggle; that there are those who support them and are with them.

We know that the media censor a great deal, you know yourself, how much censorship is a problem (globally), and the truth of this oppression (on Yemen) doesn’t come out (due to the extreme censorship regarding the Yemen situation), with a small demonstration, at the very least we can give them some semblance of hope and a feeling that they are not alone; that they haven’t been abandoned.

Sayyed Hasan Ali Al-Emad:

This issue that you have raised is indeed a very sensitive matter.  The enemy is continually looking to have an excuse that (the Islamic Republic of) Iran is interfering directly in Yemen.

Since the start of the war, the rhetoric and objectives were defined as breaking the back of (the Islamic Republic of) Iran, and preventing Iranian “expansion” into the region and specifically into Yemen.  They continually say that (the Islamic Republic of) Iran is essentially occupying Yemen and other such things.  They repeat these (false) allegations, over and over on all their channels and the like.

Just as Imam Khamenei had said at the start of the war, in the first week of the war27 that they accuse us of intervention in Yemen, but that we are only speaking and expressing our position.  What of all of these (aggressors), and their planes and the bombs, this war and massacres and such, this is not seen by anyone (as interventionism)?!  And no-one says anything (the world remains silent, ignores the issue).

Now, this issue is very sensitive for the Yemenis, who are also awaiting assistance from Iran but also don’t want an added complication to the political situation, where some suggest that Iran has less than noble intentions toward Yemen.

We should look at this situation, not from an ideological, religious point, but rather from a humanitarian position.  Now we hear, that Americans wants to occupy the Province of Hudaidah, what on earth are they talking about?!

For the last year, they let the area starve, this area had become such that people would line up along the side of the streets, queuing in order to get some bread, they are dying.  They have no bread to eat.  A person of 40 or 50 years old, has become so thin and weak from the ravages of hunger that their body becomes weaker than that of an infant, there is no flesh on his body, and he becomes just skin and bones!

We have to now raise the banner of humanity; and set aside the more complex discussions of politics and military strategy.  For humanity is being wiped out in Yemen today.

Every human, everyone who is really a human, should raise their voices to tell people that the Yemeni people are dying from hunger.

To tell all Arabs, all Muslims, all freedom loving people to stand up and be counted, and rally around the oppressed people of Yemen, that they are saved from the plagues of hunger, thirst, Cholera and other diseases.

Why does the United Nations lie that it wants to send medicine?  Why do they lie to us?

I spoke to the United Nations Special Envoy to Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, and told him that “who are you lying to when you say you want to help Yemen?”  I said to him that ” The United Nations and all these countries have been unable to reign in Saudi Arabia.  You get your funding from Saudi Arabia, and as a result, you remain silent (i.e. you are complicit)!”

Indeed, for the last year at least, the United Nations has done nothing (good) in Yemen, for almost the last year, we had weekly protests outside the United Nations building in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, because they were doing nothing in Yemen to help the peoples.

At this time, truly, humanity in Yemen is at great risk!

Mr Nader Talebzadeh:

We have an important political and ideological responsibility, and we have to not come up short in our activities in this regard.  If one day, you are told, why have you remained behind? We should say, that it is because we didn’t work (i.e. didn’t discharge our responsibilities).

We hope that what you have said (today) will be heard and understood and that it results in action and activity, but, we need to be wary of such conversations that paint (the Islamic Republic of) Iran as the enemy, so that we can make sure that the enemies do not misuse these discussions to further their agendas.

If this discussion has inspired you, and you want to help Yemen, please visit Human Rights For Yemen, and see how you can contribute and help alleviate the pain of the people of Yemen

  6. During World War II, the Japanese biological weapons program known as Unit 731 located in Pingfan Manchuria (24 kilometres south of Harbin) experimented with Vibrio cholera as a weapons agent. It was reported that the Japanese dropped cholera and typhus cultures into more than 1,000 Chinese wells and reportedly caused 10,000 cases in 1941. However, an estimated 1,700 of the deaths were Japanese soldiers, a testimony to the difficulty of protecting one’s own troops from biological agents and controlling infections.

South Africa’s biological weapons program, Project Coast (1981-1994), under the direction of Colonel Wouter Basson, developed cholera as a possible biological agent. It was reported that during South Africa’s civil war, cholera, anthrax and other bacteria were released into the water in rebel-held areas.

Iraq’s biological weapons program reportedly began with the start of the Al-Hazen Institute in 1974 where cholera was one of the biological agents under study. North Korea reportedly also studied cholera as a possible biological weapons agent.
